82nd Drive Pedestrian Bridge
DOWL has worked on a series of projects on this bridge crossing of the Clackamas River in Clackamas County, including the replacement of deteriorated timber approach spans with seismically resilient concrete spans and the installation of multiple major utility crossings designed for seismic loads.
The most recent project is a Phase 2 seismic retrofit of the main truss span, replacement of the north approach spans, and addition of a 30-inch sewer force-main to the bridge. With our seismic design, the 98-year-old bridge will be capable of withstanding a major earthquake, which will keep critical utility infrastructure in service.
