Ash Grove of Montana City Plant Expansion
DOWL provided geotechnical investigation and recommendations with associated materials testing for the proposed Ash Grove of Montana City Plant Expansion. If constructed, the project will consist of conveyor infrastructure that will traverse under Interstate 15, a material handling building, and associated plant site facilities. These improvements are projected to cost approximately $400 million. The plant site facilities will include an approximately 400-foot-tall preheater tower structure that would be the tallest structure in Montana. In all, a total of 49 geotechnical borings were drilled at the project site and conveyor alignment.
