Bradley Lake Dixon Diversion
The project involved installation of a water diversion tunnel to increase water storage at Bradley Lake for hydropower generation. DOWL, working with Alaska Energy Authority, consulted with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for a wetland delineation and Section 404 permit, Alaska Department of Natural Resources for a Temporary Water Use Authorization and Land Use Permit, Alaska Department of Fish and Game for wildlife impacts, and US Fish and Wildlife Service for Migratory Bird Treaty Act and Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. DOWL supported permitting for the geotechnical exploration and a wetland delineation and USACE consultation for the diversion construction.
