Glasgow Airport/Wokal Field Apron and Taxiway Project
Glasgow Airport /Wokal Field is a strategic and important commercial service airport and emergency medical link in rural North Central Montana. A large portion of the airport apron and taxiway area at the airport was desperately in need of repairs. Complicating the issue and adding to the engineering design challenges was poor drainage, high water tables, and several different hangar interface configurations. After design was completed, the rehabilitation construction project was overseen by DOWL during a summer of historic and record-setting rainfall at the facility.
