Judith River Trestle
DOWL served as the lead engineering firm for design activities related to repairs and replacement of the Judith River trestle structural elements. These included re-furbished steel girders, two new steel towers, eight drilled concrete pier foundations, and repair of tower foundations that were undermined by scour. To complete these elements, DOWL performed surveying, basin hydrology and river hydraulics, geotechnical investigation of native soils, river morphology evaluation, environmental permitting assistance, and structural engineering.
