OR217 Northbound Auxiliary Lane & Hall Blvd. Overcrossing
The objective of this high-profile, $135M project in Washington County is to improve OR217 corridor safety and traffic operations by installing continuous auxiliary northbound and southbound lanes, upgrading several ramps, and improving several bridges that cross the highway. DOWL led the combined team through two major value engineering and rescoping efforts to prioritize improvements and develop a constructable, functional project that achieved Oregon Department of Transportation’s vision. Design duration was 2.5 years with a bid let in August 2021. Construction is ongoing and planned to be completed in 2025.
