Rocker, MT Sewer Lift Station and Connection to Metro WWTP (Butte, MT)
DOWL provided planning, design, and construction phase services for cured in place pipe CIPP rehabilitation of sanitary sewer mains including 2,500 lineal feet of 8-inch and 2,600 lineal feet of 21-inch sewer. The 21-inch sewer required a complex sewer bypass to divert sewer around the adjacent interstate and railroad crossings. The bypass was over 4,000 feet in length and required multiple construction easements and property agreements to route the temporary piping. The 8-inch CIPP installations included complex traffic control along one of the City’s busiest roadways. The projects incorporated the use of UV CIPP, and the project allowed renewal of deteriorated sewer pipelines where dig and replace methods were not possible under the railroad, interstate, and busy roadways.
